Descrizione prodotto

Helpful tips to get the most of of the M3
I bought this for my Quest 3 even though I read some reviews about the battery making noise, battery dying very quickly, and not keeping the headset actually fully charged. I can say I have experienced all of these and there are ways to reducing the negatives and get a better experience with this.I have also bought the M2 Plus combo with charging base and 2 batteries and the same for the Pico 4 just so I can have spare batteries and the ability to charge 4 batteries at once since there are some game sessions I can play for 8-12 hours straight (simulation driving/racing/flying) and don’t want to fiddle around with hooking up a charging cable to my headset while I wait for the batter(y/ies) to charge. Onto how to control the issues.Battery drains really quick:This one and the headset not staying charged while battery is attached fall under almost the same category of causes, but I’ll keep them separate. So the B2 batteries can put out a max of 15w of power, but the Quest 3 when it is at 100% usage could pull a total of 18w of power. So trying to use less power will get you better battery life out of the B2. Turning off 120hz refresh rate, turning the brightness down, and limiting passthrough usage will help get the longest battery life. If you calculate it out, the B2 has 26 Wh of power, and the battery saying the max output it can do it 15w means that you should get roughly 1.75 hours of battery life out of the B2, but I have seen a battery drain in about an hour and my average is about 1.5 hours of battery life out of each one, so I think it is capable of putting out more than the 15w it says it can. When it does drain down faster, it does get warmer.Headset battery doesn’t stay full when using B2:This is to be expected if the headset is working at 100% load. Since the headset can use 18w (have seen people say, and I can verify, it can pull a total of 23w when plugged into a charger/battery pack) and the battery pack only being able to supply 15w of power, the headset will need to use some of its own battery to provide enough power when under a heavy load. With my above suggestions for extending the battery life, I have done all of those except turn down the brightness, and when streaming games from my computer with Virtual Desktop at 90hz to the headset, after using 2 B2 batteries, my headset is at about 80-86% battery when the 2nd B2 beeps when it is drained. I usually don’t see the headset go below 80% battery level when using the 3rd battery or 4th battery, but if you work the headset hard enough and long enough with a bunch of B2 batteries, it could eventually drain the headset all the way down to almost empty.Battery making noise:I notice that my batteries make some what of a noise (like coil whine from a GPU under heavy load) when I am playing games directly from the headset, but if you have the volume up to about 75% or more, the game drowns out the buzzing. When I am using Virtual Desktop to stream games from my computer, every once in awhile I hear the slightest buzz from the battery, but if I’m not paying attention to it, I forget it is even there. Also as soon as you start playing anything from the speakers, it instantly over powers the noise of the buzz. When not in any apps and just using the menu of the Quest 3, I don’t hear any buzzing at all from the B2 since I think the headset isn’t pulling enough juice from it to cause the noise.Overall, I am very happy with my M3 head strap. It is much more comfortable the then original head strap and even the elite head strap since it takes the pressure off the front of your face and moves it to your forehead. Like I said above, I love it so much that I bought the M2 Plus bundle and the Pico 4 bundle just to get the batteries and chargers. I gave the M2 to a buddy who has the Quest 2 and the Pico 4 I just have sitting aside doing nothing, just so I can have 2 charging stands and a total of 5 batteries (1 with M3, 2 with M2 bundle, and 2 with Pico 4 bundle) and everything in the end being cheaper than buying the batteries and charging stand on their own.EDIT: just putting the edit here and not changing anything above. It ended up costing me $10 more total to buy the 2 extra head strap bundles than to buy the chargers and batteries separately, but with how much of a backorder everything is with BOBOVR right now, I was willing to pay the $10 extra to get what I wanted in 2 days instead of 2 to 4+ weeks.

Accesorio necesario y casi obligatorio, maxima comodidad.

MUST have. Besser als erwartet. Top Qualität für unter 60.- Euro inkl. Akku – bestes Kopfband ever
Fazit: Ein unverzichtbares MUST have.

Takes the weight right off your face
As stated – the OEM head strap very much places the weight of the Quest 3 around your eyes and by the end of a play session, you’re red and feel almost congested (likely due to the placement of the face gasket). This completely alleviates that issue and you’re now only going to be limited by battery power (which is now effectively doubled)! Absolutely brilliant and completely changes the experience. 5 stars!

Easily transferred bactery packs
Easily fitted from Quest 2 Battery’s to Quest 3. Well worth the wait from another Country. Buy it as soon as you can – they go out fast on this site. Belgium i assume.BoboVR are the best bit of kit you can have. Its honestly worth waiting the 3 weeks for it.Highly recommended.

Honestly don’t know how you use quest 3 without it
I couldn’t play on my Quest 3 for more than 30 minutes (I probably had the strap setup wrong) but with this, I can easily go for as long as I want. With the battery, I think you could do more than 4 hours (with the quest inbuilt battery as well) not that I’ve ever got that far. It’s a must buy, worth every cent.

Best strap on the market
With the quest 3 being so slim and not hanging far off of your face, combined with the improvement in the lenses allowing a wider range of viewing angles to look clear, halo straps like this are finally a great choice for quest headsets. Previously, headsets like the quest 2 would hang too far off of your face to keep the headset still and against your face when moving your head around or looking straight down with a halo strap. This style of strap is without a doubt the most comfortable though, and the swappable batteries are great! Even without extra batteries, you can just rely on the headset battery while you recharge the strap battery and alternate to play for unlimited time! Great company, great products. They do make a conversion kit though if you already own one for the quest 2!

Definitive strap for Quest 3
This strap is a lot more comfortable than the default strap for the quest 3 and even Meta’s own elite strap. This allows the headset to rest evenly on the top of your head and not on your face like the regular strap which allows for longer comfortable playtime. The swappable battery greatly increases the playtime aswell and being able to swap it out for a fresh battery pack means you can play for as long as you like and not have to worry about battery life.

Incontournable !

Seems comfy but battery issue
It is comfortable, but the battery is loud, not sure if i just got a bad one, will see if it becomes better over time. If not I may exchange it to see if that addresses the issue.

Day one review.
Box arrived with everything expected. Can’t remember if there were instructions, but I’d seen videos for install instructions. Set up was easy enough. This device seeks to solve two problems. Comfort (the stock strap sucks….) and battery life (2 hours is constricting). For the first one… comfort is subjective, and might potentially be affected by use case. I would actually place this on par, or close to, the Index for comfort.Battery life is a different consideration, and I wasn’t sure how to go about testing it. So, I picked an activity (Beat Saber Twitch Stream), and just recorded battery levels at irregular intervals.I ran Beat Saber using Virtual Desktop for 2 hours and 19 minutes before discovering the battery died. I put the battery on the charger and ran my HMD until the internal battery dropped to 15% 2 hours and 4 minutes later. I took the battery off the charger (it was between 50 and 75% according to the lights), and plugged it into the HMD. I streamed for right around 1 hour more, and the HMD reported a 25% battery level. It’s worth noting that the design of the battery made disconnecting and reconnecting the battery very easy.I was tired so I quit for the morning. This thing makes the Quest 3 comfortable to wear, and increases battery life as advertised. I’m very pleased.

Love it, warning: it’s big
I love it, but your default case won’t work. I ended up buying a (heavy) pelican case to go with it as I take it all to work for lunch workouts.Still 5/5 as that’s just the price for a completely different design to what was intended. Check for a case that’s designed for this.

Great buy
Very easy to assemble and extremely comfortable to wear. Only downside is the battery could be stronger. Loses charge very quickly on the Quest 3. May need to purchase more than 1 battery.

Well-built, but not for me
The BOBOVR M3 is something that’s basically impossible to avoid hearing about if you hang around any Quest-related community for long, regularly hailed as being both extremely comfortable and being the best battery strap with hot swappable batteries. What I don’t think gets mentioned enough, though, is that halo straps (straps that suspend the headset from a ring that goes around your head, instead of strapping the headset itself to your head) are pretty hotly debated in themselves. Some people swear by them, some people hate them, and it all seems to come down to things like head shape and game preference. For me personally, I couldn’t stand this thing. The problem with halo straps is that while yes, it is extremely comfortable, the reason it’s so comfortable is because the headset is only partially secured into place. The only thing keeping the headset from wobbling slightly every time you move your head too quickly are those two little arms in the front, so if your head doesn’t fit right with those it can feel annoying fast. The strap itself is secure, and it never felt like it was going to fly off or anything, but the headset never felt stable during head motion the way I’m used to from traditional straps. It comes with a webbed silicone pad for the back that you can swap out, but as someone with lots of long hair for it to grab onto that only really made it less comfortable, and not really that much more stable anyways. The reason this is still 4 stars is because it is still a sturdy and well-made strap regardless, and for the people who do like this kind of design I can see why it’s the reigning champ. I also do really like the ease of popping the battery on and off, and really wish it was on a more elite-style strap. It feels very high quality, and at less than half the price of Meta’s own battery strap, but my own search for my ideal headstrap unfortunately won’t stop here.

This head strap is no joke
I been using this head strap now for a couple weeks. A mix between Thrill of the Fight and The Foglands…. And this head strap has felt like a cloud on my head. No head strain no eye strain or anything. The added battery pack is a nice bonus and if there is any buzzing coming from it I don’t notice it. So far a very happy customer
Matthew Seeley –
The best headstrap I’ve ever had!!!
I’m floored by this headstrap, especially with it being my first battery one! While yes the battery pack drains fast on Quest 3 (I’ve probably drained half of the battery pack within an hour of gaming, which to me still seems great for my Quest 3 experience so far considering my busy life), the adjustability, build quality, premium feel, and incredible price make this an absolute MUST for any Quest 3 owner! The halo design along with the soft leather cushioning make it the most comfortable headstrap I’ve ever used!Truly hoping the stock situation for the product and extra battery packs improves soon, because the BoboVR M3 Pro is truly that good!!!! Don’t buy the awful, overpriced Meta straps! Buy this one with no hesitation!!!! I would implore you get the M3 Pro package that includes an extra battery pack and charging pad if you can!

Best in The West
At first, I was getting a bit of neck strain but after adjusting it and putting it on properly, I hit the sweet spot. And that’s when it became almost weightless due to the just like advertised, proper weight distribution.I definitely recommend it

Converted my Quest 3 into the Quest Pro…
I hated the Quest 3 facial interface as I am asian and it is the first time that I realize that I had high cheek bones and with the Quest 3 I suddenly realize that I was asian. I have been using the Quest Pro for the last couple of years and I love the open hanging goggles type of VR. I waited very impatiently for the BOBOVR M3 to arrive and when they did arrive, I ripped open the box containing the BOBOVR M3 headstrap and ripped off my facial interface of my Quest 3 and installed the headstrap without the facial interface… and man did I fall in love with my Quest again. Since the BOBOVR supplies are so scarce these days, I ordered the M2 with two batteries and the battery charging dock to provide me with the extra batteries. With 3 batteries I love the fact that the battery is so easy to change magnetically. I have no buzzing or whining from the usage of the BOBOVR batteries and so far they have kept up with watching 3d movies. I compared the BOBOVR batteries with my 10000mah power banks and they operate pretty much the same in keeping up with my Quest 3 except the BOBOVR B2 batteries are only 5200mah which is half the time but acceptable since I have 3 batteries and I just have to swap the battery more often. My only complaint of the BOBOVR M3 is the bulbous bulge of the headset at the back of my head that is slightly uncomfortable when I try to lean back on my armchair. In comparison the meta elite strap is slightly thinner and my 10000mah power bank is in a pouch to on top of my head. I love my BOBOVR M3 and I highly recommend it to everyone. I feel like I am wearing avian goggles now and using immerse desktop to write this review up.

Wish I had gotten it sooner
The battery works well. I haven’t experienced any humming or weirdness yet, but the real selling point to me is how darn comfortable this is. I wish I had gotten one for my quest 2. The pressure from the headset is in exactly the right spots and I feel like I could wear it for much longer periods.(Update—I am noticing a slight buzzing but it’s not super loud. The battery life is as I expected…not the best, but allows me to play a bit longer which is nice. Halo itself is far more comfortable than any other VR strap I’ve used)

Konzeption, Tragekomfort wunderbar – Akku surrt (Spulenfiepen) – leider deutlich hörbar
When quest3 pulls the current smoothly, the noise of the B2 battery pack is lower. But when quest3 frequently adjusts the current, the current suddenly increases or decreases, resulting in higher noise. This phenomenon is just a way for Request 3 to adjust the charging power under certain circumstances.2. This is because the B2 battery pack operates in PSM mode under light load to improve output efficiency; Working in PWM mode under high loads. When the load is connected, the system automatically detects and activates the corresponding mode, but when quest3 frequently switches current, B2 frequently switches between PSM and PWM modes. This leads to high-frequency noise generated by energy storage devices.3. Most other mobile power supplies have this phenomenon, but their location is far from the ear. Frequent adjustment of charging power in Quest3 exacerbates this phenomenon.4: This occasional phenomenon, apart from noise, does not pose any safety issuesThis problem exists, but it is not common. Because depending on the state of using Quest3, such as different applications, different power levels, etc. It causes this situation to be different. Also, please do not attach the B2 to the headstrap when charging the B2.When B2 is out of battery, it should be put aside and charged separately. We recommend attaching the B2 Battery Pack to the M3 strap while your quest 3 is fully charged at 100%.Your quest 3 will prioritize using the B2 battery at this point more efficiently, maximising play time.If your quest 3 drops below 20% charge your quest 3 will not efficiency draw power from your B2 battery shoterning remaining play time.

Best designed and most comfortable Halo band for the Quest 3
When set up properly (with just a little over a half-inch gap between the bottom edge of the halo and the top edge of your Quest 3’s facial interface), you can stay strapped in for hours because there’s no weight on your face. This is the best halo design out there for the Quest 3. As for the battery, it works great in a pinch if you simply wait until the main battery in your Quest 3 is below 70%. No whining sound from the power mismatch. That power mismatch happens only when the Quest 3 is above 70% on it’s main battery. (There are YouTube vids out there explaining why.)

Super Tragekomfort
Eine Super Aufwertung für meine Brille.Sitzt super Bequem.
Stefan L. –

Not For Me – Exacerbated my Migraines.
I wanted so much to love this headset, as just about everyone in every group I belong to online absolutely love this thing! But when it came and I used it, it seems that the way the halo sits, it puts the whole weight of the Quest 3 on the top of the forehead and temples, with no real support over the top of the head apart from the two little padded “dots”, that don’t really do anything support wise to be honest, which after around an hour of playtime just started to give me an awful headache, leading to a migraine. I immediately removed it, waited then tried again, but it was the same thing over and over each time I used it. So alas I had to return it and order the “elite style” strap which seems to suit me better because of the ‘over the head’ support.

Love the headstrap but installation not fun
I have the BOBOVR for my Quest 2 (no battery style) and I absolutely LOVE my headstrap. Since upgrading to the Q3 I’ve sorely missed my BOBOVR strap. After waiting two weeks I finally receive it yesterday.Again, love the fit, it is amazing. Very comfortable. I reserve judgment with the battery at the moment.BUT to install the headstrap with the font velcro strap was in no way easy and why it installs from top down instead of bottom up I can’t figure out; unless my securing strap installed wrong when it was manufactured; or maybe I received a returned item?? Don’t know, just know that it was weird and not easy to install. With that said, after a few minutes I finally realized I can remove the front pad from the headstrap and remove the velcro strap to make it easier to install on the Q3.Overall, I’m a huge fan of the BOBOVR and also of the BOBOVR facial interface with fan (Q2 only); I’m hoping they will come out with the Q3 version soon.Photo’s are of my Q2 and Q3LOVE IT!!

Drastically improved the comfort of my Quest 3
The difference between this and the Quest strap is night and day. It feels more stable without having to be too tight. The multiple adjustment points makes it easy to share my Q3 with my wife and teenager. The battery pack connects via 2 strong magnets, so I am able to attach or remove it easily while wearing the headset. The only complaint I have is the way the instructions were printed on the box. It’s a great idea, but the box flipped as I was following them. If that’s the only complaint I can find, then this is an all around win.

Huge upgrade to comfort! But not perfect
This head strap is not even in the case class as the stock fabric in terms of comfort. It makes the stock one completely obsolete. It elevates pressure away from your face and puts most of it in the back. This comes to my only complaint, in fast games like beat saber you might find it slips on the back of your head leading to it tilting upward and the front tilting down. To solve this you might need to re-adjust and tighten it. But this issue will very depending on your head shape

Nice device
Really liked the product and quality feel. I had what looked like a pre-used item sent in error and this returned it. Hoping to get another one soon and will update this review.

Immediate difference in comfort
My kids noticed the immediate difference in using this instead of what you get when you first buy the metaquest 3.The balance took the weight off of their foreheads and even my son has no complaints (super picky with what he wears on his head… we both get headaches from hats, hair ties, head phones, etc.)It’s absolutely a game changer for comfort.Arrived late but oh well.

Awesome Head Strsp fpr Q3 with an issue or 2 c
This Head strap is very popular and with good reason, it is extremally comfortable. The Hot Swappable batteries are another reason to give this 5 stars… but hold on its not perfect. The way it sits on my face it lets light in around the nose. I did not have that much light leakage with the stock strap. The other issue is while for the most part installing the strap is easy but hang on….. the Velcro part in the front is very difficult to get through and secure. It took time and a small screwdriver to pull it through. It’s this last issue that took the star away for me. Overall, though this is a very comfortable Strap. worth the cost even without the Battey. I found the included battery extended play time between 1 and 3 hours depending on what you are doing. Average was 2 hours. But these are hot swapable so you can buy more batteries and just swap them. So despite a couple minor issues, I would recommend this strap.

I bought for Meta Quest 3 perfect fit easy to switch in this
Comfortable my goodness what a difference. I’m middle ages ( closer 60yrs) and I was able to switch the headset Meta quest 3 came with,to this headset, and did it in 4 minutes and was ready to use.Volume control easy set. Comfort is outstanding. If you don’t want to use padded back head piece, there are 2 straps you can use.No weight on my head or neck.Battery pack magnetic strong, literally tugged it into place.Battery usage for me is about 3 to 5 hrs depending what type game (s) I’m playing.Well worth investment under 70.00

Great strap but needs a better battery.
The strap is very comfortable no problems wearing it for hours. But the battery has a coil wine noise when in use and it doesn’t last long depending on the app and use it adds about 45min to an hour of extra time. i suppose they just want you to buy more batteries and the charging station.

Comfortable Headstrap – Depressed battery contact pin
Although the headstrap is very comfortable and a major upgrade from the original Quest 3 headstrap, my headstrap came with a depressed battery contact pin (as seen in the photo). The unit still appears to work with no issues. I have reached out to Bobovr through their email support and was told 3 of the 6 pins are backup contacts, so all is good. After multiple tests in mixed reality, it appears that my Quest 3 battery holds at 90-95% charge as the Bobovr Headstrap M3 Pro B2 battery drains; this is the behavior I would expect. Also, I have not noticed any battery whine thus far (My B2 Battery is 5V 2.6A),

Pretty Comfortable, The Battery Hums
It’s much better than the original headstrap. The batteries do charge my Quest 3 and give it at least 30 more minutes of playtime. The worst part about the headstrap is the batteries make an audible hissing/humming noise when it’s very quiet in your games. I don’t know how they can fix that though. It’s still a better deal than buying the Quest Pro headstrap.

Soooo comfortable!
This strap is definitely the most comfortable strap I have used and the ease of the battery exchange makes this a no brainer. I could play my VR for hours if I chose so.

worth the wait to replace the base strap

Best strap for Q3. Hands down.
Purchased this immediately after Q3, I did not nor do not want to use the cloth strap that came with it.This strap is the best I’ve tried.Elite strap and others like it have nothing on this.I can even sleep with it on without much issue. The battery counterweight is a godsend.

Holy Crap this thing is Amazing!
This strap is so incredible and it’s a shock that it’s as cheap as it is and it comes with a battery. Compare that to the much less comfortable Elite strap with battery from Meta that’s more than 2.5x the price. This thing is SOOOOOOOOOOO much more comfortable than the default strap, it’s like the difference between lying on a pillow vs face down onto a brick. Also the battery doesn’t seem to charge quite as fast as the Quest 3 can draw power, but it’s close. When the battery dies, I’m usually at like 85+% and it gave me an extra 1.5ish hours. And I have not had any loud whirring sound issues with my battery. This thing is amazing and you should NOT buy a Quest 3 without this strap. It’s a required accessory!

Best accessory to get
I was worried about getting this because I heard that the headset battery depletes even with this battery on because its output isn’t strong enough to charge the Q3 but they must have fixed this issue as I have no issues at all, it keeps my Q3 charged and I don’t feel the need for extra batteries yet for the amount of time I use the headset. Not only is the battery great, it pops on and detaches so easily, it can also be used as a power bank for my phone if I want to just take it with me anywhere. It also feels 10 times nicer on my head vs the stock strap. I can now adjust and put on my Q3 now. For only $50 it’s a steal and worth every penny, don’t look at any other brands just get this one, you will love it.

Pros and Cons
It’s definitely more comfortable than the stock strap.Well, I tried it with playing Vegas infinite and the real VR fishing. Both are stationary games so I just sit there and played without much body movements. Before I started, I made it pretty tight and secured on my head. After 1.5 hours of playing of each, the head strap turned loose and I took it off with just a simple push of my index finger to pop it off. Now I am not sure what will happen I play those body workout/shooting games. I am worried that it might fly off. I am thinking getting a Velcro strap to connect the two arms and my chin. The battery isn’t that great. The quest 3 needs 18w input and the battery can only deliver 15w. it’s only 5 amp so it doesn’t last long. Solution? I ordered a 40000 mah power bank that delivers 30w and an armband to hold it since the battery weights more than a pound.Anyway I think it’s a bit overrated but for the price, it’s not too bad.

Best Comfort – Great Battery Life
I tried the elastic strap that came with the Quest 3 and it was hardly tolerable. But it was still more comfortable than my PSVR2. I bought the Meta elite strap without the battery and it was a big jump in comfort. But prolonged use with that put too much pressure on my forehead. I decided to go for this M3 strap and I have never been more comfortable using a VR headset. This takes all the pressure points away and with the battery it balances out the frontal weight. I can wear this for hours without rising discomfort. And the battery lasts longer than expected. If the Quest 3 is charged 100% this battery will keep it charged until it depletes and then the Quest will start using its own battery. This is superior in every way vs the Meta straps both in cost and comfort. It also seems very well made. Also having multiple pivot points makes this fit a head/face perfectly and is easy to take off/on without adjusting anything.

Very Nice
Very good high quality head strap. It’s worth every penny, it’s worth more actually. If I had 2 Quest 3’s I would buy another one of these.
Brendan –
Awesome
Very comfortable. Came with a different pad you can swap out. The battery lasts me just over an hour. When the battery is attached the weight dispersion is great. The price makes this a must have over other headstraps with battery’s.
Jason Sym –
Works great and DOES keep my Quest 3 charged
Had read a few reviews stating this didn’t keep people’s quest 3 charged and that is not the case for me. Have played many hours of Beat Saber as well as other games and this has kept my Quest 3 at 100% the entire time.I haven’t done much mixed reality, but I’m sure this would be greatly extending the life of any MR session as well, if it didn’t keep the Quest 3 pegged at 100% it would drastically reduce the battery drain over time.
Norm C. –
Worth the Price.
Fits much better on my head and doesn’t add pressure to your face like the stock straps. It is true what everybody says, the battery life with the quest 3 gets drained quickly with the better visuals and such. The extra battery life is worth it. Great value.

Soooo comfortable
I had gotten one for my quest 2 so of course got one for my quest 3. Makes a world of difference. I do recommend getting at least 3 batteries with it due to quest 3 being such a big battery drain. Two were fine for the quest 2 but definitely not the 3 if you play long hours.

Comfortable, but there’s a buzzing…
It’s definitely a comfortable fit. I won’t see it feels more secure like I thought it was going to, but it’s better than the strap in most categories. However the battery buzzes… That’s pretty much the only con.
noah –
it’s really comfotable.
I think i could have me enjoy the quest 3, but the case i buy from the budle it’s too small than this bobovr m3 pro..i feel upset.so i cann’t give the 5 star.

Battery subpar, Good headset comfort with modification
Bobo really rushed this product and did not test the battery properly with the Meta Quest 3. The battery when attached to the Quest makes hissing sound when the Quest is on trickle charge mode when the Quest battery is almost full. The hissing noise will not be as obvious or disappears when Quest 3 battery is down to ~70%, also the battery maybe a bit under power for the Quest 3 compare to the Quest 2.The head-strap is comfortable otherwise, although I dislike how it is attach via friction grab onto the Quest headset instead of the official snap in method. Although the friction method does allow for more finer adjustment of the headset forward position, but obviously Bobo could use a redesign. This would have been a 5 stars if the battery was properly design for the Quest 3.Edit: 1 star from 3 stars. The battery died with just a few cycles. They will send me a new battery, I will revise the review if the 2nd battery survive.Edit: so far 2nd battery is holding. Also the 2 top cushions are really giving me a headache after 30 mins of usage. I took those off and replaced it with the honeycomb silicone that is meant to be use for the back of the head and it is so much better. For now back to 3 stars.

Simply amazing!
I had the M2 version for my Quest 2, been patiently waiting for this to come in stock (still hasnt happened by time of review) but keep checking the page and eventually there should be some in stock, and check out asap. I ordered 10/23 with 11/10 delivery date, but I got it 10/31.Real easy to install on the Quest 3, took a few minutes to adjust the strap and dial to where it was comfortable. I played 2.5 hours with a 100% charged headset, and the battery out of the mail lasted the whole play time, I ended 2.5 hours of play with 95% on my headset, seemingly does drain the battery but around 5% per 2 hours played which isnt bad at all IMO, with 1-2 extra batteries you could pretty much play unlimited amount of time with how easy they are to swap out.Way better deal than the Elite strap, and even more so against the elite strap w/ battery. I havent tried either elite strap for Q3 but had the non battery Elite Strap on my Q2 and the BoboVR M2 was wayyyyyyyy better than the elite strap, the extra battery life is a huge bonus over the comfort alone.

Comfortable
I recently got my hands on the M3 head-strap for my Quest 2 virtual reality headset, and I must say, it’s been quite an experience. I had to wait a bit to get it, but the wait was worth it. The M3 has truly impressed me, especially in comparison to the M2 head-strap I’d been using for a long time. The comfort level it provides is outstanding, and I find it to be a significant improvement over the M2.One standout feature of the M3 is its battery management. It keeps the battery level of my Quest 2 at a solid 100% until its own battery depletes. This means I can enjoy uninterrupted gameplay for as long as the head-strap’s battery lasts, which is perfect for those extended VR gaming sessions. What’s even better is that I already have several spare batteries for my Quest 2, and I can continue using them with the M3. This compatibility is a real cost-saver and makes the transition seamless. I’m genuinely grateful to boboVR for creating such an amazing accessory, and I’m eagerly looking forward to their future innovations, especially for the Quest 3.

This is the best Headset for Q3
This is a well design headset for Quest 3. It is very comfortable to wear, and it does not create a goggle mark around my face. The battery attaches easily with magnetic. After watching some reviews on youtube, I decided to order. It took about 1 month to get my M3.

This is the best battery pack/head strap
This is the second BOBOVR battery pack I purchased. My first one was for the oculus 2. Easy to change out with the stock head strap, works perfect and feels great on your head. 5star

Bar far, most comfortable headstrap I’ve tried. Equally convenient to take on/off. Battery is an improvement, but all batteries are kind of too weak for Quest3.

Really a massive improvement over the stock headband. I’d buy it even if it didn’t come with a battery. Comfortable even after 3+ hours of use.

This is the one to getJust like with the bobovr m2 strap, this m3 is super comfortable and allows full adjustment of the quest 3 to your head in comfort. The addition of the battery on the back is a bonus and will add about an hour to your playing time. Very happy with the strap so far.

Infinitely Better Than the Stock StrapSo, I got the Quest 3 a couple of days after release. I loved using it, but the stock strapped absolutely KILLED me. I could only play for 30-45 minutes before my face started to hurt to the point where I had to stop. After doing some research, I heard that BOBO was one of the most highly recommended straps for the Quest 2. However, it was constantly out of stock. I checked Dazeu late one night and happened to see that it was in stock…I’m SO glad that I checked!I’ve been using this since the end of October and have absolutely no regrets. When I first put it on, I was really disappointed because it was not nearly as comfortable as I imagined it would be. But, after some adjusting, I now have it where I absolutely love it. There is still a little pressure on my face, but, compared to the stock strap, it’s practically nothing. I could adjust the strap more so that the Quest sits off of my face a little more, but then I would be sacrificing a little FOV.I play Quest most evenings but really don’t play for very long. So, I was a bit bummed to see that this strap was only available with the battery. I would have preferred to purchase an ‘M3 Plus’ without the battery. I kept hearing negative things about the battery not being able to effectively charge the Quest 3, but I was so desperate for a better strap that I didn’t care. However, I have been pleasantly surprised by the battery. I don’t play much in the way of MR games, which are supposedly more draining on the battery. With the VR games that I do play, the battery can keep my Quest fully charged for at least an hour – sometimes even longer! The battery isn’t powerful enough to charge the Quest 3 while playing, but it can keep the Quest battery at the same level (sometimes draining a percent or two). As others have reported, my battery does make a quiet buzzing sound, and I need to reach out to BOBO about that. But it’s pretty quiet, and I don’t notice it while playing.I still don’t really need a battery and would have preferred to purchase this strap without it and save some money, but, honestly, the battery works just fine for me! However, I know there is some variation with the batteries that are being shipped – some people report that their batteries work great while others report that they don’t. My battery output is 5V 2.6A (Capacity: 5200 mah – 3.7V/19.24Wh).Basically, if you still have the stock strap, this strap is a no brainer. I did try another strap that is more similar to the Meta Elite strap, and it was honestly pretty good. I just love how this takes all the weight and puts it on the top of your head rather than pulling it all to your face!

This strap saved my Quest 3 experienceI was about to return my Quest 3 as the stock strap was unusable after a few minutes of playing.I’m glad to say this strap saved it for me. The added battery and reasonable price is great. Can certainly recommend. One thing to notice, the battery works as a powerbank, it’s not “integrated”. I’ve seen screenshots that the official strap with battery indicates the battery pack in the UI, this is nog the case for this strap.
Ospite –
Good but flawedAs most people have mentioned, it is way more comfortable than the stock strap. That being said, it does have a few downsides:- The small velcro strap on the front needs to be reversed or removed. This can be done by removing the front pad. Otherwise it is difficult to thread it onto the headset.- Be gentle when installing. I have installed/removed it multiple times without an issue. But, one time I guess I wasn’t careful enough, and caused a slight scratch on one of the arms on my Quest 3 shown in image).- I find it most comfortable when worn slightly loose. When tightened, the pressure on the forehead can make it uncomfortable pretty quickly. So it is most suitable for slow paced applications where you don’t need to move your head quickly. Also, the two small pads on the top can get irritating. At least they are removable.- It can be used without the facial interface, but it is not very stable that way.- It is common knowledge that the battery used is the same battery used for the Quest 2. Hissing is an issue.Despite the flaws, I still use it for slow paced experiences as it relieves almost all pressure from my face, unlike the stock or elite style straps.

Awesome! Is so much more comfortable than the stock strap that caused pain. This one is very comfortable. I had to check if it was on my head at the top. It’s so easy to adjust and do easy to battery swap. Hopefully they cone out with sone extra power ones for the m3.
Ospite –
Comfortable and coolFits great for fitness games, and it allows the interface to be moved a little off my face to allow air to get in and reduce fogging and reduce sweat build up. The hot swappable battery keeps my quest 3 at 100% for 1/2 hour. I guess I need to buy more batteries.

Awesome headset! Battery pack not so much…I love the comfort and fit of this headset and that alone is almost enough to give it 5 stars, but…… the battery pack is not working correctly. I have tried 4 different charging cables and blocks but it will not fully charge. I was very excited about the extra battery power so this is very disappointing.
