I specifically wanted a non battery strap and went with this one. It’s greatly improved comfort and feels great on, even with the stock facial interface. No more pressure on the forehead or cheekbones, it kinda cradles the back of your head so it doesn’t need to rely on pressure to hold it in place.

Great product
This head strap is totally worth the money. It’s easy to install. Way more comfortable and adjustable than the stock Quest 3 strap.The only improvement I would add would be grooves or bumps on the head strap dial. It’s too slippery. It tightens no issues but loosening is way harder and there is no grip on the dial. I bought a roll of 3M grip tape and cut a thin peice of it ( self sticky) and put it around the dial. 100% easier to turn that dial now. Other than that it’s great!!

This is way better than the elite strap i used form Meta for the Quest 2. i cannot tell this about the elite strap for the Meta quest 3 because i do not have used it.I would recommend it!

Ich hatte den Comfort Elite Strap schon für die Meta Quest 2 und sehnsüchtig drauf gewartet, dass er nun auch für die Meta Quest 3 erhältlich ist. Als es dann zum Jahreswechsel soweit war, habe ich sofort zugegriffen.Ich muss gestehen, ich habe mir den Elite Head Strap von Meta für 79,- andrehen lassen, der einfach nur den Drehknopf hat, keine Polsterung und nichts. Im Vergleich zum CHS von KIWI design wirkt das wie Ware aus dem 1,- Shop.Also wer sein VR Erlebnis steigern will, dem sei der gepolsterte, verstellbare Comfort Head Strap von KIWI wärmstens ans Herz gelegt. Dass das gute Stück binnen weniger Stunden ausverkauft war und die Lieferzeiten nun etwas länger sind, sprechen für sich, aber das Warten lohnt sich.

This is great . Design is so well made and comes in lovely packaging too. Comfort and fit is 5 * the best alternative to the quest elite strap and at less than half the price. Would highly recommend. Purchased another design to compare and this far outweighs the other brand.

Dieses Kopfband hatte ich schon für die Quest 2 und war sehr zufrieden damit. Ich hatte ein ähnliches Modell ausprobiert und bin wieder zurück zu diesem.Wenn es kein Halo-Strap sein soll dann ist das eins der Besten. Vor allem die Polsterung am Hinterkopf ist super.

Must Have!
I’m new to VR and I found the quest 3 outstanding , with all the upgrades it got I thought now is the time to buy one. Unfortunately it is let down by the painful stock head strap. The Kiwi head strap is brilliant and makes wearing the quest a joy, you hardly notice it, if at all! I fully recommend this product, well done Kiwi!! Now I’m waiting for them to bring out a facial interface, then my Quest will be perfect!

Much more comfortable than stock for extended use
I really enjoy gaming on the Quest 3 now. The original strap would hurt my head after about 30 minutes from the pressure it placed on the back and sides. This design alleviates those pains. Plus its easy to put on and remove when sharing with friends. The new strap holds the headset firmly in place even in the most demanding boxing games and can be loosened a little while playing something less physical. The only downside I’ve found so far vs the original is it’s hard to get comfortable while watching videos with the back of my head resting against a pillow or headrest because of the bulk.

I tried the official elite strap and found that uncomfortable, although the design of this is quite similar the Kiwi strap is much more comfortable due to the padding and is much less expensive.This strap also works well with the official quest 3 carry case, just incase you’re wondering.

This is the strap to get everyone! Combine this with a comfy facial interface and it’s almost like you don’t have a headset on. This strap is very easy to put on, adjust and place over your head. Painful Quest sessions are a thing of the past now.

First VR, first aftermarket headstrap, so really don’t have much to compare it to. That said, this thing is pretty awesome! So much more comfortable than the original quest 3 strap. Comfortable and easy to put together
A great upgrade to the standard strap supplied with the Quest 3. Easy to remove the default head strap and attach the Kiwi designed replacement. I’ve got a larger head and I found it no problem to adjust to be far more comfortable than the default strap and to get on and off my head during use. Seems sturdy and well put together. I use with prescription lenses fitted to the Quest 3 with no problems. I’ve had it for several weeks and it shows no signs of anything to complain about. Quality product for the price.

Dramatically improved comfort
My kids and husband say this dramatically improved the comfort of our Meta Quest 3. We had it for about a week and a half and everyone was fighting over adjusting the original strap between uses and my daughter kept complaining of headaches which we thought were visual headaches from the actual VR however we later found out were tension/pressure headaches from the strap itself. She hasn’t had a single headache since she started using this band (it’s nicely padded and cups the back of the head). It’s also a breeze to adjust for head size (and stopped the arguments). My husband also found the added bonus that you can tilt the angle of the VR so that he was able to get it in better focus for the shape of his face. Overall everyone is very happy. We’ve only had it few days so I can’t speak to its longevity but so far so good. The husband installed it and said it was tricky to get it through the top because it was a tight fit but overall not difficult. We would recommend it.

I tried both this and the battery strap, here’s what you need to know
Ok so first off, this product is great, well made, and 10x better than the official meta strap. With that being said I will be retuning this and keeping my battery pack strap by kiwi. Although the battery strap costs $20 more, it does extend the life of your headset considerably and the counterweight of the battery on the back of the headset helps keep pressure off the front of your face at the cost of a slightly heavier headset. With that said, the battery pack comes with a few drawbacks including a strange buzzing noise sometimes when charging and if you don’t care about the extra battery or plan on using an external power bank with the headset, this strap is a no brainer! Overall kiwi design makes excellent product at a great price!

Great Quality and Fitment
Ordered a Quest 3 and all the reviews mentioned replacing the cheap head strap immediately. I didn’t feel like spending an additional $80 on the Meta version so was in search of a cheaper alternative. The Kiwi version looked very similar to the OEM version with the added benefit of the extra hinge joints on each sides trap. From the package design that is nearly identical to Meta’s, to the quality of the product and comfort—I could not be happier. The product looks just like it does in the pictures and feels OEM+. If you’re looking for a replacement head strap, this one won’t disappoint.

Can’t recommend this enough
I heard good things about the kiwi head strap but it still exceeded my expectations, it’s very comfortable and sits perfectly on my head even when not adjusted.If you have a quest 3, you know the default strap is pretty bad. Get this and you don’t have to fight to get the quest 3 to sit right.

Fixed multiple comfort issues
With the stock strap, I was having multiple issues with comfort. From bad pressure points on my face and head to pain from the head strap. Getting this head strap fixed most of my comfort issues. Weight is evenly distributed across the face and all around the head. The stock facial interface still sucks, but nothing that this strap could fix. Kiwi has done it again and successfully made a very comfortable strap.

Game Changer
Greatly improves the VR experience. Original head-steap from Meta caused the headset to be at a slight angle that caused blurriness. This aftermarket head-strap allowed me to resolve that issue and is much more comfortable. Top strap is removable and in my case experienced plenty of support without it.

The head strap came well packaged in a retail box with clear fitting instructions. I have purchased Kiwi design products before and they were of good quality, so I had high expectations which were met. It was easy to fit to the Quest 3 and is far more comfortable to wear than the one that came with the Quest 3, by a big margin. The only issue is that it doesn’t fit in the case I got for it, but that shouldn’t be seen a a criticism of the he’d strap which is excellent and I cannot fault in any way. A completely deserved five stars from me.

I’ve tried a few 3rd party straps for my Quest 3 now, and whilst many of them have been comfortable they have been quite cheap looking in appearance and fell. This Kiwi Design strap though is both comfortable and very well made.It’s really easy to put together and attach to your Quest 3. The adjustments are easy and it feels very solid.Quality wise I can’t imagine the genuine Meta Elite head strap being any better, and this one is much cheaper. The Quest 3 is my first VR headset but from what I’ve read Kiwi are a respected brand in the VR community.

Very happy with how happy quick this was to set up. The attachment fits easily to the system. The leather head strap has very thick cushioning and the leather itself is super soft. This adds a lot of comfort when using the meta quest console.

I got this head strap for my son, who’s been diving into adventures with the original Quest 3. Putting it on and adjusting it is a breeze, and it fits him comfortably – he’s a growing kid.Interestingly, it shares the same design as the Kiwi head strap for the Meta Quest 2, which worked wonders for us.However, we did notice a slight difference. The ratchet mechanism seems a tad louder compared to what we were accustomed to with the Q2 version. It’s a minor quirk, but when you’re turning the knob, you can definitely hear it. Nevertheless, given the price point, it’s entirely acceptable. It’s been a handy addition, adapting seamlessly for both his and my use.All in all, the strap has made our VR experiences smoother, even with the occasional “click-click” soundtrack.

As usual, Kiwi makes a solid product
This strap is pretty good quality and quite comfortable. For the most part, all of these third – party straps are about the same, with a few variables; the length of the strap, the amount of cushioning, and the adjustability of the arms and the back cup. A lot of it comes down to personal preference, I personally prefer less cushioning because i find it unnecessary and makes the strap less stable on your head or less rigid in other words. This Kiwi strap has cushioning on both the back cup and the top strap, which I find a bit excessive, but it still works fine and is comfortable enough nonetheless. The strap is also quite large so it will fit any sized head I reckon. The back cup does not pivot as it does on some other straps, but I dont think that is really a must. The arms have smooth adjustment and only lock when fully up or fully down, which I think is a good implementation. If you want a good quality strap, you cant really go wrong with Kiwi.

Latest version of an already proven and excellent product
I’ve looked over this head strap and it is pretty much identical to the one they made for Quest 2 (other than fitting quest 3), and that’s a good thing! Their design seems to be heavily based off of the OEM Quest Elite straps which were very well received, that is, until they started breaking. In that regard, Kiwi’s version proved to be far superior. You see, Oculus messed up and used materials that couldn’t withstand all the flexing these endure, and they were bad about breaking. But KIWI’s version didn’t have that issue. I’ve used mine for many hours a week for nearly 2 years and it’s still in fantastic condition. And that’s with an auxiliary Anker battery hanging off the back of it causing it even more stress. So when I saw a chance to get one for Quest 3 through the Vine review program, It was a no brainer.I am including recent pictures of my 2 year old KiWI quest 2 strap that is mostly identical to this one. Partly because my Quest 3 hasn’t actually arrived yet. But also so you can see how well Kiwi has already done with this design and it’s ability to hold up over time. Some may also be interested to see the 3D print options from Thingiverse I printed for the battery and cable. They were designed for the original Quest Elite strap but fit the Kiwi perfectly. Another reason why I went with the KIWI.

Such an improvement over the stock strap
Understanding that Oculus/Meta sells their own premium strap as a source of some additional revenue, we didn’t expect the stock one to be a strap that we’d use for any length of time. What we didn’t expect was how much of an improvement this one is over the one it comes with as well as another that we tried from a company that tried to rush to market.We’ve used Kiwi products in the past both on Oculus/Meta headsets and on a Valve Index so we expected quality and that is what we found in this strap.Several members of our household have used the strap and they are consistently impressed with the overall look, feel and most importantly how it feels on your head.This should be the strap that you choose when you get sick of the stock one. It’s considerably cheaper than the one that Oculus/Meta sells and is much more durable from what we can tell.Another home run from Kiwi!

I’ve owned all three Quests. I’ve found the stock straps on all of them to be varying degrees of awful. My solution has always been to use a modified DAS strap. It’s served me well over these years.I’ve tried alternatives in the past, but always defaulted back to the DAS with a battery in back. This is how I’ve been using my Quest 3 since launch.But this Kiwi strap really is the superior option. The way it just cups the back of your head and has the nice cushion on the strap makes it feel much nicer. I even think it feels great without a battery as a counter-weight. I have tied a battery to the back, but only because the Quest 3 battery life isn’t very good and I need the extra power. But if you’re fine with stock battery performance, I consider the basic version of this strap to be incredibly comfortable even without a counter-weight.

Easy to Clean
This head strap seems to be of great quality. It came in 2 pieces but was super easy to assemble. I especially like that it is all rubber so it is easy to clean. My kids tend to make the headset sweaty, especially when playing beat saber, so I really wanted something that would be easy to wipe down between kids. It fits comfortably, and I’m finally not getting a headache when I use the oculus.Overall, we’re really happy with it. I’d definitely recommend this head strap.

ESSENTIAL
I thought my old Vive Deluxe Audio Strap was a comfort lifesaver. This strap beats that one and then some.I could only stand the default Quest 3 straps for about a day. This kit wasn’t too hard to install (hardest part was getting the Quest parts off) and the relief was immediate. It’s not only better balanced but the memory foam is fantastically comfortable. I don’t even remember that part exists as the only pressure left is on my forehead from the leftover weight of the actual system. All that and it is super secure.The 1st party strap looks to have no padding, no joint, a reportedly weaker frame, and all for nearly twice the asking price. This is a no brainer!

This comfort headband from Kiwi was very easy to install and transformed our Quest play experience. The comfort level is amazing compared to the stock headband and it’s much more easier to adjust between different users. I don’t know why Meta doesn’t provide a headband like this by default. There’s no reason to by a Meta comfort headband when you can have this one for a fraction of the cost and with additional comfort via the memory foam rear pad. Meta’s is not padded.

Great head strap for the Meta Quest 3Another fine, quality product made by Kiwi Design. I first bought the DESTEK QH3 head strap for my Meta Quest 3 after reading all the positive reviews on Dazeu. It is a great head strap, but it just didn’t fit my head well and caused unwanted pressure on my cheekbones and forehead that made it uncomfortable for me to wear for long play sessions. So, I decided to give the Kiwi head strap a try since I already have one installed on my Quest 2 and loved it. Bingo.. This Kiwi head strap did the trick. It is very lightweight and quite comfortable to wear. It provides a tight, yet very comfortable fit and allows me to now wear the headset comfortably for long periods of time. It is the same design as the Kiwi head strap for the Meta Quest 2 and fits my head in the same way. I would highly recommend this head strap for anyone looking to upgrade from the pathetic low-quality head strap included with the Quest 3.

It’s alright, but not greatI’ll give this 3 stars just for the quality. It appeared to be a well-made strap. All I see on Dazeu is low-effort, Chinese-made junk straps. It’s like they all make the same strap, but give it a weird name like XYSZZ or GHDYY. Doesn’t inspire much confidence! Anyway, this Kiwi strap was really nice, but unfortunately, it wasn’t much more comfortable for me than the stock strap. The read pad is a nice idea, but I think it also led the strap to slide up on my hair. This can be avoided by tightening it, but then it becomes uncomfortable.It’s worth a shot if you like this style of strap, but IMO, any Quest 3 strap should have some kind of counterweight on the rear. Whether it’s a battery or just some extra mass, there has to be something there to balance out the extremely front-heavy headset. The problem with all the battery straps at the moment is, they don’t charge correctly, or the battery buzzes. I guess no one got the memo that they can’t use the same battery as a Quest 2 (well, they can, but that leads to the noise because it’s underpowered, apparently).In short, I bought this to relieve the pressure from my cheeks and face, but it didn’t really do that.

Very comfortable and usefull!Good option to use for your metaquest. So easy to install and adaptable for child and adults. After to purchase it my Children didn’t need I help them to adjust de metaquest as I used, they just can make it for themselves! I Love it!!

STOP WASTING YOUR TIME. JUST BUY IT.Absolutely the best upgrade I’ve had. All the tension/pressure headaches gone. No more pressure on your forehead. Ended up playing for 7hours straight no more face marks or itchiness. Headaches totally gone. Kiwi made a great accessory for sure.
